Spring 2012 is all about COLOR.

Some of the featured colors this Spring are tangerine, sunny yellow and dusty blue. Pastels and bold colors are strong this Spring.

Birds and power flower prints will be everywhere. We will also see plenty of swirly Baroque flourishes. Balancing our fashion options will be sharp, high-tech digital motifs and abstract art in geometric solid colors.

Silhouettes and architectural elements emerging this year are the dropped waist on skirts and dresses as well as hip-skimming peplums on cardigans and jackets.

Flashes of skin will be seen through cropped tops, laser cut-outs and engineered peek-a-boos.

The elegance of matte satin fabric as it bends and flows around the curves of the body will flatter you when worn in the right cut and color for your skin tone and shape. This glamorous fabric will be popular in evening and occasion looks.

Long skirts are back in but, so are mini-skirts and maxi-dresses. Striped dresses will be popular as well.

Colored bottoms will be in again especially in denim and casual outfits. Wide leg pants are in for Spring too. We will see them in linens and other woven fabrications.

Cardigans are such a practical addition to your Spring wardrobe because of their versatility. They can replace a jacket in transitional climates or, be worn alone as a top. Create a sexy look with a camisole or less worn underneath. I think it has to do with the buttons.

Accessorizing with the fashion wedge shoe and a statement necklace will finish your look with an up-to-date confidence.
